Title:
Business Administration Intern
Status: Internship

Job Description:  The intern will assist with projects related to our continuous improvement program.  Specific duties include updating Dashboard, flow charts, desktop procedures and application writing. 

Qualifications:

• Coursework or major in business or related field
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Exposure to Visio is helpful
• Completion of junior year of study
• Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Active membership in an LCMS congregation
• Active involvement in campus life

IT Intern
Status: Internship

Job Description:  The intern will work on short-term projects serving as an analyst and designer/developer and actively participate in on-going projects as needed.
 
Qualifications:
• Coursework or major in Information Systems, MIS, IT or Computer Science
• Performed campus IT related functions
• High level knowledge of PC’s, Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet
• Experience with MS SQL is preferred
• Knowledge of VB, VB.NET, C#, ASP, ASP.NET and Crystal Reports is preferred
• Completion of junior year of study
• Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Active membership in an LCMS congregation
• Active involvement in campus life

Title:
Editorial (Multimedia) Intern
Status: Internship

Job Description:  Intern will develop video clips to be used as part of adult Bible study resources. These could include interviewing and shooting video of people on the street as well as other types of video footage. Editing capabilities preferred in order to convert raw footage into final edited content for customer use. Intern will have the opportunity to help brainstorm the content, look, and feel of the desired video clips.

Qualifications:

• Coursework or major in visual arts and/or youth or adult ministry
• Familiar with the technology of digital cameras and editing software
• Familiar with and committed to Lutheran theology
• Completion of junior year of study
• Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Active membership in an LCMS congregation

Graphic Design (Multilingual) Intern
Status: Internship

Job Description:  The intern will assist with layout and typesetting of various Spanish resources using InDesign and Illustrator software programs. 

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Experience with Mac, InDesign, and Illustrator is required
• Layout experience is helpful
• Completion of junior year of study
• Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Active membership in an LCMS congregation
• Active involvement in campus life

Title:
Director, Music and Worship Resources
Status: Full-time

Concordia Publishing House, the publishing arm of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, is seeking a Director, Music & Worship Resources.  This position oversees the development and production of all Music and Worship publications, linear, visual, audio, and multimedia; finds and recruits potential editors, composers, and clinicians; serves as chief liaison concerning worship and music with LCMS units and other publishing houses; and prepares and oversees the annual business plan. 

Candidates must be a member of the LCMS, listed on the official roster of Synod (preferred), possess a Master’s degree or equivalent training in theology and/or church music and have five years parish experience or its equivalent with demonstrated interest in total parish ministry.
